Fraudsters disguised as social workers stole around half a million rubles from Serpoukhov retirees , reports the online edition “The Moscow region today”.
According to the press service of the District Administration, it all happened in a house on Zvezdnaya Street. Two unknown women came to the old people's apartment, after calling their home phone numbers where she and her husband keep their savings and, distracting the grandmother with conversations, stole the whole thing ; money ”, indicates the message.
The retiree who returned home kicked out unwanted guests. After the “social workers” left, he missed 220,000 rubles and turned to the police.
A similar crime took place in the village of Bolshevik: there a pensioner complained that unknown women had stolen 230,000 rubles from her apartment.
