The Ministry of Health and Roszdravnadzor in Bashkortostan will check after the death of Bashkortostan a 96-year-old man – a former veteran of the Great Patriotic War, an elderly person was refused hospitalization, according to the website of the Republic's State Investigation Directorate.
Earlier, the media wrote that an ambulance came on call at the veteran's house. However, the doctors decided not to take him to the hospital, the man later died.
“The necessary documentation is required, a forensic examination is planned, inspections have been launched at the republic's health ministry and the regional department of Roszdravnadzor,” the message read.
A criminal case has been opened under the article “Causing death by negligence”.
Earlier, Sputnik Radio reported that con artists again attempted to deceive the veteran who was sitting next to Vladimir Putin during the May 9 parade.
