Japanese tourist Segan Kameda, who travels the world in bike for 12 years, was injured in Elazig province in Sivriche district, reports Turizm Ajansi.
According to a 45-year-old tourist, while brushing his teeth , he was attacked by a stranger with a knife. “I was in the garden, having breakfast. Suddenly a man nearby started looking at me,” Segan Kameda said. “I asked why he was looking at me like that. In response, the Turk rushed at me.”

In an interview with Ntv.com.tr, the Japanese man suggested he was annoying locals with his behavior. “My trip to Turkey is over. My leg is very sore. I have been traveling all over the world without money for 12 years. I usually live in a tent, sometimes with friends,” he said .
According to Kameda, police showed him photos and he identified the attacker. The alleged perpetrator has been arrested.
